Owning an American Cockapoo puppy

Cockapoo is a hybrid involving Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Cockapoo breed was first found in America in 1960.

Cockapoo carries a weight of approximately 6 to 19 lbs with a height of approximately 14 to 15 inches. Cockapoo are available in cream, white and tan colors and also in a combination of these colors.

Cockapoo puppies have a dense coat which is curly and heavily wavy. This puppy is very intelligent, and acts a great companion to human beings. It is strongly built with a good built in personality. The Cockapoo puppy if not social can prove very hostile to other breeds of dogs.

Faithfulness, cleverness and loving are the few attributes of the Cockapoo puppy. Being a mixed breed it is not at all difficult to train the Cockapoo. It accepts training and said to be one of the smartest dogs in the world.

The temperament of the Cockapoo puppy is very pleasing, energetic, and gracious. These attributes in the puppies make them much admired companion of human beings. The Cockapoos sometimes do not get along well with children, so utmost supervision needs to be taken at home.

Regular combing and brushing is necessary for the Cockapoo puppies. Shedding is a common phenomenon amongst this breed. Yearly clipping is required.

To train Cockapoo is not easy like other dogs. Though obedient, proper soft techniques need to be followed during training a Cockapoo.
